‘Nikolka Shusho’ Held for 10 Hours at NSS: ‘Hraparak’

The newspaper ‘Hraparak’ reports: On February 20, we published an article titled ‘The former and current deputy heads of the State Revenue Committee are behind large businesses,’ discussing the establishment of a new customs clearance organization named ‘Uniserve’ replacing the former ‘Norfolk’.

We wrote that the founder is Ara Gabrielyan, the former deputy head of the SRC, but it is mentioned that the current deputy head Shushan Nersisyan (Nikolka Shusho) is also involved, which led to Nersisyan's suggestion to the law enforcement that an investigation clarify her lack of connection to it. We have learned that the NSS has initiated a process related to customs issues, and recently Sh. Nersisyan was summoned to the NSS and questioned for a long time.

She was held at the NSS for about 10 hours. We were told it might be related to misappropriations within the customs service, which resulted in the dismissal of certain officials, but these malpractices have not been reported to law enforcement, and it is possible that Nersisyan carries some blame.
