Masked Citizens from Georgia Rob a French National in Yerevan

According to SHAMSHYAN, on February 23, a masked robbery occurred in Yerevan involving an object similar to a firearm. Around 1:00 AM, 28-year-old Narine M. addressed the Erebuni police station, informing them that the previous day at approximately 10:40 PM, in the 2nd Dead-End on Movses Khorenatsi Street, two masked individuals had threatened her with a gun and stolen a large sum of money (in euros and drams) before fleeing the scene.

According to G. Shamshyan, the victim of the robbery, Narine M., is a citizen of the French Republic.

The media report reveals that law enforcement in Yerevan has identified two citizens of the Republic of Georgia, 19-year-old Tatul Papoyan and 20-year-old Yerjanik Tsarukyan, who are suspected of carrying out the robbery.

According to G. Shamshyan, they are residents of Akhalkalaki.

Shortly prior, officers from the 3rd Special Battalion of the Police of Yerevan (red berets), led by platoon commander Mikael Ayvazyan, apprehended the suspects in a handcuffed state and transferred them to the Erebuni police station, where they will be presented to the investigative division.
