First Footage from Pedestrian Accident in St. Petersburg (18+)
A BMW X6 in St. Petersburg veered off Nevsky Prospect and struck pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. Two people died at the scene, and three others were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries. After the incident, the 29-year-old driver attempted to flee but was arrested by the St. Petersburg police.
The incident resulted in the deaths of a 35-year-old woman from Moscow and a 40-year-old citizen of the United States. It has been revealed that the individual responsible for the accident is Murad Kasimov, an Azerbaijani national. According to some reports, he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
A criminal case has been initiated against him, and measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances surrounding the event.
