On February 24, 29-year-old Karen Khnusyan, who was murdered in the village of Jrvej in the Kotayk Province, was known in the criminal world as 'Karen from Greece.' This was reported by NEWS.am.

According to information from the media outlet, he was wanted by Interpol.

The court in Thessaloniki, Greece, sentenced him in 2015 to 57 years and 6 months in prison for kidnapping, murder, illegal possession of weapons, and robbery. A year later, in April 2016, he was granted a 6-day leave, after which he did not return to the correctional facility.
