Valuable Items, Paintings, and a Winchester-Type Rifle Stolen from Manvel Grigoryan's Son's Home
According to Shamshyan.com, on February 24, a resident of Echmiadzin, 35-year-old Hripsime Hakobyan, approached the Vagharshapat police station to report that on February 23, upon visiting her private house located on 17th street in the village of Arshaluys, she discovered that the iron bars of the kitchen window on the first floor had been broken. Upon entering the house, she found it ransacked.
Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that Hakobyan informed the police that an unknown individual or individuals had stolen various items, objects, paintings, and other valuable goods from the rooms of the house. They also took her husband 40-year-old Karen Grigoryan's clothes, as well as a Winchester-type rifle, along with its case and documents.
Police and investigative department are conducting the necessary operational and investigative actions to identify the individual or individuals responsible and to locate the stolen property.
According to Shamshyan, Karen Grigoryan is the son of General Manvel Grigoryan, a former mayor of Echmiadzin.
