Details on Gunshots Incident in Erebuni
The police have clarified the circle of individuals involved in the gunfire incident that took place last night in Erebuni. According to the statement released by the police:
“On February 24 at 21:45, a report was received at the Erebuni police department from the hospital that an ambulance team had transported a 27-year-old man with a diagnosis of ‘gunshot wound to the head.’ According to the paramedic's statement, the patient was taken from Ayvazovsky Street.
On the same day at 21:50, another report was received from the hospital stating that a 26-year-old man had sought medical attention with a diagnosis of ‘gunshot wound to the head’ and reported that he had sustained the injury on Ayvazovsky Street.
At 22:15 of the same day, a third report was received from the hospital about a 29-year-old man who was admitted with a diagnosis of ‘gunshot wound to the right thigh,’ claiming that he felt pain in his leg and heard a loud sound while driving in the Erebuni area.
On the same day, at an auto service point on Bagratunyats Street, a ‘Land Rover’ vehicle was found with traces of gunfire and blood, and at the intersection of Artsakh and Erebuni streets, a ‘Toyota’ vehicle was discovered with similar traces. Additionally, during the site examination at 10/1 Fourth Lane on Artsakh Street, various calibers of cartridges were found and seized.
The police have identified the individuals who were transported to the hospital. As a result of the measures taken, operational information has been obtained and the circle of individuals related to the incident has been clarified. However, additional information will be provided later, based on the interests of the investigation.
Forensic medical, forensic ballistic, forensic biological, and other examinations have been appointed.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
