Armenian Deputy Governor Involved in Accident, Attempts to Blame Female Driver
On February 21, the Deputy Governor of Armavir province, 30-year-old Karen Grigoryan, a resident of Parakar village, was involved in a car accident in the Armavir region.
According to Shamshyan.com, on February 25, Grigoryan sought medical assistance at Astghik Medical Center, diagnosed with a "head injury."
It was revealed that on February 21, at approximately 09:15 AM, while driving his Opel Vectra with license plate number 39 MP 999, he crossed into the oncoming traffic lane on Mashtots Street in Ejmiatsin and collided with a Suzuki vehicle driven by 39-year-old Lilit Aslanyan, who had license plate number 35 MC 230.
Sources from the site indicate that after the accident, he exited the vehicle and attempted to blame the female driver of the Suzuki, asserting that she was at fault. However, bystanders were able to explain to him that he was the one responsible for the incident.
