Video: 'The Knife Has Reached the Bone' – Sewage Water Floods Office
This morning, AuroraNews received a report that sewage water is flooding an office located in the basement of a dormitory building at Arabkir 39A 1.
Residents who contacted us mentioned that the issue is due to clogged inspection wells that back up almost every two days.
In an attempt to resolve the problem, residents have reached out to the relevant authorities, but to no avail. “We even offered to work together to solve the issue, but they refused. They indicate that it’s a dormitory area, and we should resolve the problem ourselves. Residents have been bearing the consequences from their own pockets, but the knife has reached the bone,” said resident Marine Simonyan in an interview with us.
AuroraNews has also addressed the problem to the Yerevan Municipality and Veolia Water Company. We will return to this issue and the efforts being made to resolve it shortly.
