Marukyan Appeals to Police: Threats Received

According to Shamshyan.com, an investigation has been initiated in the Organized Crime Division of the RA Police based on the application submitted by Edmon Marukyan, a member of the National Assembly and head of the Bright Armenia party.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Marukyan approached the 6th Division of the Police and stated that unknown individuals had published videos on the internet, the content of which discredits both him and his wife, as well as the honor and dignity of National Assembly members who are part of the Bright Armenia party. Furthermore, Shamshyan's sources indicate that there are opinions suggesting that the comments made by the user who published the videos contained direct and indirect threats to Marukyan's life, health, and that of his family and party members.
