Major Car Accident on Tbilisi Highway: One Injured

Today, on February 22, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 20:05, vehicles involved in the incident, an Opel Astra with license plate 34 TP 660 and a BMW with license plate 35 VV 046, collided on Tbilisi Highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel was transported to Hospital Number 1 with bodily injuries. The BMW ended up on the sidewalk designated for pedestrians, while both vehicles were turned into metal wreckage.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The vehicles have been moved to a special area protected by the Yerevan Traffic Police. The police are in the process of identifying the drivers.
