VIDEO: Right-Hand Drive Vehicles Acquired by December 30 Will Be Imported by May 1
The government discussed the importation of right-hand drive vehicles once again during today's meeting.
The Prime Minister noted that after this batch is imported, they will not address the issue of right-hand drive vehicle imports again. "The condition is clear: we will never revisit this topic again," he stated.
Hakob Arshakyan said, "It takes two months to import a vehicle from Japan to Armenia. We have set April 1 as the deadline to ensure that those bringing in vehicles have a significant risk and cannot forge documents."
To this statement, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan jokingly remarked, "This is a good opportunity to identify and arrest corrupt officials; let's consider it bait, a trap. So, attention, dear corrupt officials, we urge you to be active until May 1!"
