Man is Truly the Highest Value in Armenia: Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, participated in the "Universal Rights Award Ceremony 2018" at the Matenadaran.

"The fact that elections are taking place in Armenia, and their official results are not disputed, is indeed a turning point event," he said, adding that this moment marks an important phase for Armenia. This significance is highlighted by the fact that a problem in one sector, which could not be resolved for 25 years, has finally found a solution today.

"In Armenia, a government has been established that is not an ally and sponsor of individuals and circles that violate human rights, but rather one that supports those individuals and structures fighting against any area of human rights violations. What is our formula for protecting rights? It is creating equal opportunities for all citizens... A person is truly the highest value in RA. In terms of applying this thesis, it is important that a person be the highest value not only for the government but also that a person is considered the highest value by other individuals. This should become one of the important pillars of our new political realities," Pashinyan noted.
