Australia to Introduce Emoji License Plates

Residents of Queensland, Australia will be able to purchase emoji license plates for their vehicles starting in March. This was reported by Seven News Sydney.

The new service will cost around $300.

“With various symbols on their license plates, Australians express support for their favorite sports clubs and cities. The use of emojis will not be something new,” emphasized Rebecca Michael, spokesperson for the Queensland Royal Automobile Club.
