Please Send Photos of Our Grandparents Who Participated in the Great Patriotic War: Artur Hovhannisyan

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artur Hovhannisyan, wrote:

“Dear compatriots, this is very important, please actively engage in this matter. It is understandable that our grandparents are either no longer with us or, for understandable reasons, cannot send us these photos and data. Please find and send us their pictures. The pictures can either be in uniform or at least with medals.”

As the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War approaches, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia appeals to the relatives of war veterans.

“For inclusion in the exhibitions of the ‘Path of Remembrance’ dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War being constructed in the ‘Patriot’ Park near Moscow, we need digitized photographs (in JPEG format) of war veterans and their biographical data (name, surname, patronymic, date of birth/death, and other details). Please send the photographs and data to [email protected] and [email protected] with the note ‘1941-1945.’”
