Tragic Car Accident in Armavir Region: 1 Dead, 3 Injured
A severe car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Today, on February 19, around 12:00 PM, two vehicles collided head-on on the M3 section of the Margara-Echmiadzin highway, near the beginning of the Griboyedov village. The vehicles involved were a VAZ 21144 with the license plate 35 ZS 849 and an Opel Vectra with the license plate 35 TV 742.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan present at the scene, four individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the medical center in Vagharshapat. Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that three of the injured were taken to the hospital by fellow citizens, while one, in critical condition, was transported by the emergency medical team from Vagharshapat hospital. The injured were accompanied to the hospital by the commander of the first platoon of the second police battalion, Karen Abelyan, who later returned to the accident site.
The police are working to ascertain the identities of the drivers and injured individuals. The photojournalist reported that while investigator G. Yeghiazaryan was conducting an examination at the accident site, a call was received at the hospital that one of the injured had died without regaining consciousness. At this moment, police are waiting for the arrival of investigators from the Armavir regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
