Appeal to Be Filed Against the Verdict of Noratus' Alik and Charbakh's Gegham

The General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia is preparing to file an appeal against the verdict concerning the criminal figures Noratus' Alik and Charbakh's Gegham.

In an interview with Armtimes.com, the advisor to the Prosecutor General, Gor Abrahamyan, stated that the court ruling has been received and analyzed, and an appeal is currently being prepared, which is in the final stages.

It is noteworthy that on December 18, 2018, by the ruling of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction, the criminal figure known as Alik Banduryan, nicknamed Alik from Noratus, was acquitted and released from the courtroom, while Petros Israelian, known as Gegham from Charbakh, was found guilty under Article 113 of the RA Criminal Code (causing intentional moderate injury to health) and sentenced to four years of imprisonment, but was released due to amnesty. Armen Gasparyan, known as Bdo, was also acquitted.
