4 Subscription Options to Receive Notifications About Traffic Violations

The Traffic Police informs that from February 18, 2019, there is a registration method on the official website of the Police of the Republic of Armenia (www.police.am) to receive notifications regarding the decisions made on violations recorded by traffic police recording devices via short (SMS) messages and email.

To register in the system through the website, it is necessary to enter the "Traffic Police Notifications via SMS" section of www.police.am, where you should select one of the subscription options available in the system, and then choose the notification method.

Currently, there are 4 subscription options available:

1. Subscription with a Vehicle Registration Certificate
2. Subscription with an ID card
3. Subscription with a Public Services Identifier (PSI)
4. Subscription via Telegram application

Subscription with a Vehicle Registration Certificate

To subscribe with a Vehicle Registration Certificate, you need to enter the vehicle registration certificate in the corresponding field, select the ownership type (individual or legal entity), and enter the registration number before choosing one of the notification options.

If you select the "via SMS" option, you need to choose your country from the dropdown and enter your phone number before clicking the "Subscribe" button.

If you opt for the "via Email" option, you must enter your email address and click the "Subscribe" button.

If all the entered data is correct, after clicking the "Subscribe" button, a confirmation code will be sent to the entered phone number, which must be entered in the appropriate field of the pop-up window, and then click the "Confirm" button.

After the confirmation process, you will see the message: "You have successfully registered in the system." You can unsubscribe at any time by simply clicking the "Unsubscribe" button.

Subscription with an ID Card

To subscribe with an ID card, you need to have a card reader connected to your computer. When subscribing with an ID card (or unsubscribing), the operation will apply to all vehicles owned by you.

Insert your ID card into the device and click the "Read" button. If all actions are performed correctly, you will see the message: "Thank you, your data has been successfully downloaded, please fill in the other fields and click the 'Subscribe' button," after which you need to select one of the notification options.

If you choose "via SMS," follow the same steps as outlined previously.

If you select "via Email," the process remains the same.

Once all entered data is confirmed, a code will be sent to the provided number, which you must enter and click "Confirm." You will receive a message confirming your successful registration.

You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the "Unsubscribe" button.

Subscription with a Public Services Identifier (PSI)

When subscribing with a PSI, you must enter your public services identifier, vehicle registration certificate(s), and choose one of the notification options.

You can subscribe to up to 4 vehicles at the same time by clicking the "+" button and entering each vehicle's registration certificate.

For both SMS and email notifications, follow the earlier outlined steps to register. Once again, a confirmation code will be sent to your phone for validation.

After confirmation, you will receive a successful registration message, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Subscription via Telegram Application

For the Telegram subscription, it is necessary to install the "Telegram" application on your device and then click the "Subscribe" button.

You can unsubscribe from this option at any time by simply clicking the "Unsubscribe" button.
