16 States Sue President Trump

Sixteen states have filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump. This was reported by the New York Times.

The coalition of 16 states, which includes California and New York, filed the lawsuit in a San Francisco federal court on Monday, challenging the president's recent emergency declaration.

As a reminder, on February 15, Trump signed a document declaring a national emergency, which would allow him to allocate $8 billion for the construction of a border wall with Mexico without Congressional approval. The legality of Trump's decision is currently under review by congress members.
