Snow, Ice, Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 17 at 08:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for cargo trucks with trailers due to ice.
The inter-community roads in the villages of Vardenis, Ttujur, Chknagh, Dzoraglukh, Saralanj, Alagyaz, Charjakis, Midnatun, Melikgyugh, Nigavan, and Rya Taza of Aragatsotn Province are closed.
The roads connecting Sotk-Karvachar and Saravan-Zanger are difficult to navigate due to ice.
There are icy patches on the Goris-Kapan and Tigranashen-Zangakatun roads.
Snow is falling in the Aparan region of Aragatsotn Province.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Department of Road Management of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Ongoing Construction Work
Construction work is ongoing on the section of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road from the 39th km to Bagratashen.

1. Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koghes-Aygehart-Odzun-Alaverdi via roads leading to the Georgian border.

From June 30, 2018, until February 17 of this year, construction work is being carried out on the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, which has resulted in a one-way closure of approximately 200 meters.
