Television Presenter and Designer Detained on Drug Charges

On February 16, a television presenter from Public Television and an architect designer from Art Design LLC were detained by police on suspicion of drug possession and use. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the source, Yerevan residents, 35-year-old Arman Margaryan and 32-year-old Hovhannes Vahramyan, were taken into custody near the Ibis hotel complex on Northern Avenue over suspicions of drug-related activities.

A personal search of Hovhannes Vahramyan revealed a polyethylene bag containing a greenish substance weighing 1.7 grams, as well as a glass smoking device containing an additional greenish substance that weighed 1.5 grams.

The investigative department of the Central Police is currently preparing materials for the case.

Based on the investigator's decision, toxicological and forensic examinations have been appointed.

Both the presenter and the designer have been released.
