Attention: Several Intercommunity Roads Closed in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for freight vehicles with trailers (black ice) and is difficult to navigate for passenger cars.
The intercommunity roads of Sotk-Karmir, Vardenis, T'tujur, Chkunq, Dzoraglukh, Saralanj, Alagyaz, Mirak, Sipan, Aghshen, Shenkani, Midanatun, Melikgyugh, Nigavan, and Rya Taza villages are closed.
The Saravan-"Zanger" road is difficult to navigate due to black ice.
Black ice is present in sections of the Goris-Kapan and Tigranashen-Zangakatun roads.
There is a snowstorm on the Aparan-Nigavan road in the Aragatsotn region.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
According to information received from Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
