Fire at Saratak Village School
On February 11, at 04:57, the emergency services received a call reporting a fire in one of the classrooms of the school in Saratak village, Shirak province.
A firefighting team consisting of three units and an operational group from the regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the fire started in a classroom and in the roof of the school.
The fire was contained by 05:51 and extinguished by 06:46.
Damages included the wooden structural elements of the roof (approximately 10 square meters), the principal's office on the first floor along with its furnishings (approximately 30 square meters), the office door, two windows, two doors adjacent to the office, and the thermal exposure of two non-combustible cabinets and two windows.
