Contract Soldier Dies from Gunshot Wound at Armenian Army Unit

A contract soldier, Mesrop Rubik Grigoryan, has died from a gunshot wound at a protection post of one of the Armenian army units.

This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, on his Facebook page.

"With deep sorrow, we inform that today at a protection post of the Armenian Armed Forces, contract soldier Mesrop Rubik Grigoryan, born on October 18, 1985, has died from a gunshot wound. The circumstances are being clarified.

We extend our condolences to Mesrop Grigoryan's family," Hovhannisyan wrote.
