Citizen Hospitalized with Gunshot Wound Found with Pistol Delivered by Alik Sargsyan

An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Yesterday, around 14:50, a citizen was transferred to the "Erebuni" medical center with a diagnosis of "gunshot wound to the left foot, fracture of the navicular bone." This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators found that the injured party is 53-year-old Misha Tadevosyan, a resident of the Ararat region, who sustained the injury from a shot fired from a "Viking" type pistol while sitting inside a parked VAZ 2121 vehicle with license plate number 35 XN 111, near building 22 on Erebuni Street.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, Tadevosyan was handling the pistol when it accidentally discharged. The firearm involved in the incident was given to M. Tadevosyan as a reward by the former head of the Armenian Police, Police Major General Alik Sargsyan. Investigative materials are being prepared by investigator Azaryan regarding the fact.
