Fog in the «Chayni» Twists, Tavush and Syunik Regions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 9 at 20:00, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, while it is difficult to pass for others.

The Sotk-Karmiravan road is difficult to traverse due to black ice.

Fog is reported in the twists of «Chayni», as well as in the Tavush and Syunik regions.

There are snowfalls reported on the Goris-Sisian road and in the towns of Hrazdan in Kotayk province, Jambarak, and Vardenis in Gegharkunik province.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
