VIDEO: Azerbaijanis in Georgia Demand Removal of Artsakh Hero's Statue

Azerbaijanis in Georgia are protesting in front of the parliament building in Tbilisi, demanding the removal of a statue dedicated to Mikhail Avagyan, a participant in the Artsakh liberation war.

The protest began at 14:00.

It’s worth noting that on January 20, 2019, a new monument to Mikhail Avagyan was erected in the village of Bughashen in the Akhalkalaki municipality. The old monument, built in 1994, had been damaged, and a benefactor from the village, a relative of Avagyan, allocated funds for the new monument.
