Vardenyats Pass Closed

The Ministry of Emergencies has reported that as of February 8 at 19:10, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate due to icy conditions.

Snow is falling in the towns of Ashtarak in Aragatsotn Province, Gavar, Sevan in Gegharkunik Province, Charentsavan in Kotayk Province, and in Shirak Province.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
