Road Conditions in Armenia Updated

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 5 at 19:00, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in Armenia.

The Vardenis mountain pass is closed for trucks with trailers (due to blizzard) and difficult to pass for passenger vehicles.

The Sotk-Karmiravan road is difficult to pass due to black ice.

On the roads of Syunik Province, particularly in the areas known as "Zanger" and "Meghri Mountain," there is black ice in places.

Fog is present on the Goris-Kapan road.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars

According to information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Information from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia's North Ossetia Republic indicates that there are accumulated trucks on the Russian side.
