Armenians Injured in Bus Accident in Kaluga
A serious bus accident in the Kaluga region of Russia, transporting children, has resulted in injuries to several Armenians. A list of the injured has been published by the Mash Telegram channel. Among the 48 passengers on the bus was a girl named Sofia Arakelyan, who was traveling with her mother.
It is noted that the road traffic incident occurred today, involving 41 people onboard, of whom 16 were adults and the remaining were children. The children were members of a dance group traveling to Kaluga from Yartsevo with their parents.
Preliminary reports indicate that the tragic accident resulted in the deaths of 7 individuals, including 4 children. Additionally, 24 passengers have been hospitalized. Rescue operations on the scene have been concluded, with rescuers extricating 47 people from the damaged bus.
