17 Cars Collide on Road from Saralanj to Avetisyan Due to Black Ice

On February 3, another major chain-reaction accident occurred in Yerevan due to black ice on the roads.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, around 02:00 a.m., more than ten vehicles collided on the segment of road leading from Saralanj to Avetisyan Street.

As a result of the collision, two individuals were hospitalized with injuries.

The site reports that over 17 vehicles were involved in the crash, several of which left the scene without waiting for the insurance representatives.

The cause of the accident was attributed to the black ice on the road, with drivers blaming the local municipality and administrative officials for the incident.
