Difficult Access Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 28 at 19:00, there are difficult access roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is open for light passenger vehicles, while it is impassable for heavy trucks.
On the Sotk-Karabakh road, as well as on the roads in the regions of Ashotzk and Amasia in Shirak Province, and in Syunik Province, there are patches of black ice.
In the area known as "Meghru Sar" in Syunik Province and in the town of Kajaran, there are snowfalls.
Blizzards are reported on the Sotk-Karabakh road and in the Aragatsotni region of Aragats.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
