UPDATED. Blizzard and Black Ice on Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 26, at 21:00, there are impassable and closed roads across the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed only for vehicles with trailers.

On the Sotk-Karmiravan road, in the regions of Ashotzk and Amassia in Shirak Province, and on the roads in Syunik Province, there are instances of black ice.

A blizzard is observed in the Aragyaz region of Aragatsotn Province.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
