Fight at a School in Yerevan Leaves Child Injured

On January 25, an extraordinary incident occurred at the Stepan Zoryan Secondary School No. 56 in Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan, around 1:00 PM, the Arabkir police received a call from the Yerevan 1-03 emergency medical service, stating that a medical team had been dispatched to an apartment in the Arabkir administrative district, where they found 11-year-old Grigor Sh. with injuries to his eye and spine.

The police established that on January 24, around noon, a fight broke out between Grigor Sh. and another 11-year-old, Samvel M., in one of the classrooms at School No. 56, located at 13 Hrachya Kochar Street, during which they struck each other with their hands.

Following the incident, the Arabkir police’s investigative department has initiated proceedings. According to sources, the children are students at the mentioned school.
