Snowfall in Aparan, Aragats Region, Shirak Province

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 25, at 17:00, there are impassable and closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed only to vehicles with trailers, while it is difficult for passenger cars to traverse. On the Sotk-Karmiravan road, there are instances of black ice present in the regions of Ashotsk and Amasia in Shirak Province, as well as on roads in Syunik Province. Snowfall is occurring in the regions of Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province and in Shirak Province. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
