Paris Airport Partially Evacuated Due to Journalist's Shoes

People in several lounges at Paris Orly Airport were evacuated due to a suspicious device found in a passenger's luggage, which turned out to be a pair of shoes with lights.

RIA Novosti, referencing Parisien, reports that the passenger was traveling to Casablanca on a Royal Air Maroc flight. During the inspection of her carry-on luggage, an item resembling explosives was discovered.

Airport staff evacuated the people and called bomb disposal teams, who determined that the item in question was a trendy shoe with light elements. It was revealed that the shoes belonged to a well-known journalist working for a fashion magazine.

As a result of this incident, several flights were delayed.
