Cadastre Committee Returns 30 Official Vehicles to the State
The Cadastre Committee and its "Geodesy and Cartography" State Non-Commercial Organization recently returned 30 vehicles to the State Property Management Committee, fulfilling the December 13 decision of the Armenian government. The committee reports that the aim is the more efficient use of state resources.
Additionally, the committee plans to allocate three more official vehicles to the newly established body of Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety Inspection.
During the first working meeting of this year on January 8, committee head Sarhat Petrosyan assigned the task of returning the vehicles to Deputy Secretary General Gagik Eghanian, while the responsibility for monitoring the remaining vehicles fell to the head of the economic department, Momik Hovakimyan. He is tasked with inventorying the vehicles, including photographs and a database detailing the technical condition of each vehicle. It was also instructed to analyze and present data on how many drivers, how much fuel, and other resources are necessary for their operation. Furthermore, it was mandated that any issues regarding the repair of service vehicles or fuel should be resolved only in writing.
“Last year we had savings in the sector, and this year we will continue, directing the saved resources back towards employee incentives,” he stated.
