Business Linked to General Manvel's Associates Moves Out of Airport and 'Occupies' Sidewalks

The baggage wrapping business owned by associates of former National Assembly member and former Union of Volunteer Fighters (YKM) chairman Manvel Grigoryan, who is accused of large-scale embezzlement, has moved out of Zvartnots Airport's terminal and has 'occupied' the road leading to the airport. This was reported by Aysor.am.

Previously, the wrapping of baggage for passengers departing from Armenia was conducted solely within the airport terminal. Associates of Manvel Grigoryan had shares in this business. However, following the initiation of a criminal case regarding the large-scale embezzlement charges against the former MP, it is reported that the management of Zvartnots Airport has made efforts to distance itself from businesses associated with Grigoryan.

As a result, the baggage wrapping now takes place outside the airport terminal, conducted by other individuals.
