Varks am Robbery Suspect 'Phantom' Identified

The criminal investigation department of the Yerevan Police, in collaboration with local police units, has identified the individual responsible for the robbery that occurred at the Varks am credit organization on Kanakertzi street on January 21, during which 1,188,000 AMD was stolen.

On the same day, police located Adam Baghdasaryan on Abovyan street in Yerevan and apprehended him for questioning at the Kanakert-Zeytun police department. It was established that the 29-year-old resident of Yerevan had also committed a robbery at the same credit organization on Halabyan street on January 5, stealing approximately 1,500,000 AMD, and another robbery at the organization's Davitashen branch on January 14, during which he took around 1,800,000 AMD.

Adam Baghdasaryan has been presented to the investigative body where he was arrested.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
