Turkish-Armenian Relations Will Not Be Resolved Until the Artsakh Issue is Settled, Çavuşoğlu
Ermenihaber reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has addressed the issue of Artsakh.
In order to resolve certain existing problems, it is not enough to just protect one’s own interests; it is also necessary to be proactive.
“To resolve existing issues, it is necessary to be proactive. It is not enough to only protect one’s own interests. Today, when the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is not resolved, stability in the Caucasus and the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations are not possible. In 2019, we will be more consistent in these matters,” he said while discussing the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
During a meeting with students in Antalya, Çavuşoğlu also spoke about Turkish-American relations, the fight against terrorism, and the situation in the Caucasus.
