The Best Option is to Vote for the Belarusian Candidate for the CSTO Secretary General Position

Political scientist Suren Saroyan wrote on his Facebook page: "It is clear that the representative of Armenia will no longer preside over the CSTO. I stated this from the very first day of the crisis. It is also clear that all other member states support this position.

Considering this circumstance, without retracting our own position and at the same time not paralyzing the organization’s work while maintaining friendly relations with partners, I believe the best option for Armenia is to vote for the Belarusian candidate for the position of CSTO Secretary General, provided that he will start fulfilling his duties from the day when Khachaturov's term should have ended."
