Shirak Deputy Governor Submits Resignation
The Deputy Governor of Shirak Province, Ara Melikjanyan, who was appointed to the position in July, has submitted his resignation.
In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Dear friends, colleagues, residents of Shirak, today I have submitted my resignation from the position of Deputy Governor of Shirak Province. I am grateful to have had the honor of working with the staff of the Shirak Provincial Administration. A family that stands out for its preparedness, professionalism, human qualities, and boundless dedication to the province.
I would also like to thank my political team, the Civil Contract party, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, esteemed Mr. Pashinyan, for trusting me with such an important and responsible position in a timely manner. I am proud to be a member of the Civil Contract team. The Civil Contract team is a unique political team that is truly based on democratic values and principles. Regardless of my position or the format of my work, I have worked and will continue to work for the resolution of issues facing my beloved city and province.”
