Opposition MPs Surpass Newcomers

Despite the fact that the seventh convocation of the National Assembly has only just started its work, the newly elected MPs have been quite active during this session, primarily in terms of making speeches and raising questions. However, the legislative initiatives are only just beginning to be presented, and so far only representatives from two opposition factions have done so.

According to the newspaper “Zhoghovurd,” at this moment, there are already five legislative initiatives put into circulation, three of which are from the “Enlightened Armenia” faction and two from the “Prosperous Armenia” faction. Meanwhile, the ruling “My Step” faction has yet to submit any legislative initiatives.
