Black Ice on Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia informs that as of January 22 at 09:30, there is black ice in some areas of the Goris-Sisian road segment.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles, and closed to heavy and trailer transport vehicles.

Road construction crews are conducting cleaning and treatment works with salt and sand on the roads.

All other interstate and republican roads in Armenia are open.
