Another Attempt to Smuggle Drugs by an Iranian Citizen Prevented, says SCC
The State Revenue Committee's Department for Combating Smuggling, in collaboration with the Police's Main Department for Combating Organized Crime and the Syunik Regional Department's Meghri Division, carried out an operation based on intelligence data.
During the inspection at the customs checkpoint in Meghri, they examined the baggage of an Armenian citizen arriving from Iran, identified as T.G. As a result, approximately 49.5 grams of a greenish substance resembling marijuana and about 0.3 grams of a white crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine were discovered.
