5455 Trees Cut Down by Hayantar

During the period from January 1 to December 31, 2018, illegal logging activities have resulted in the cutting down of 5455 trees in the forests managed by the Forest Committee's Hayantar SNCO.

Employees of the forest protection team have compiled 278 reports of forest violations regarding these illegally cut trees. Out of these reports, 145 have been sent to the local police departments to identify the perpetrators, while 133 have been forwarded to the environmental and minerals inspection body.
