10 people dead in fire onboard ships in Kerch Strait

10 people have died in a fire that broke out onboard ships in the Kerch Strait. According to Russian media reports, Crimea and Kuban are ready to accommodate those affected by the fire.

There were 16 Turkish citizens on the tanker. In total, there were 31 people onboard the Tanzanian-flagged vessels, the 'Kandi' and 'Maestro.'

Preliminary data suggests that the cause of the fire was the transfer of fuel on the ships carrying liquefied gas.
