HHK has been, is, and will be: Sharmazanov
Former HHK member of parliament Eduard Sharmazanov informed reporters after the HHK bureau meeting that the leader of the HHK, the third President of Armenia Serge Sargsyan, not only participated in but also led the meeting.
“As always, there is no change. The question of the congress was not discussed, the next one is next year, and there is no discussion regarding extraordinary meetings,” he said.
According to Sharmazanov, the extraordinary parliamentary elections held in December proved that the HHK has a voter base that will continue to grow. He emphasized that they took 4th place among 11 political forces, despite the propaganda and campaign against them.
“As many worn-out political figures who criticized HHK or said that it had no votes, now I wonder why those voices are not heard? Gradually, our army of 60,000 votes will increase—there hasn’t been any such intense propaganda against any party. On December 10, I said this was the day of the HHK renaissance, and today we proved that 9 months after the regime change, the HHK is a mature political structure, naturally not with the same influence, but the HHK has been, is and will be,” he stated.
