Arpine Hovhannisyan's Advice to Alen Simonian

Former Republican Party of Armenia MP Arpine Hovhannisyan wrote on her Facebook page:

“Yesterday, the vice president of the National Assembly responded to my post regarding the ECHR decision.

When answering questions about serious and deep issues, I would advise Alen Simonian to provide substantial answers instead of resorting to unnecessary, populist, and sensationalized rhetoric. A member of parliament holding a law degree should understand that he is no longer just a representative of the government, but the vice president of a body that oversees government activities, engages in the protection of human rights, and represents Armenia in international organizations.

In the end, Mr. Vice President should be cautious, as the professional community does not forget, but rather remembers that Mr. Simonian is a lawyer.”
