Zohrapyan on the Pardon for Mher Yenokyan

The chairperson candidate of the Permanent Commission on Human Rights and Public Affairs, Naira Zohrapyan, has not explicitly shared her opinion on the pardon for Mher Yenokyan.

"I am familiar with the details of the case. I will not disclose my personal approach, as the case is currently under confidential discussion. I believe that our faction will soon present a legislative initiative where the views of the victims' heirs must certainly be taken into account at some stage of the pardon process. This is extremely important," Zohrapyan stated in her speech today.

She emphasized that she feels painful for the relatives and parents of Agajanov during these days as they experience the double grief of their son's murder.
