Video: Transgender Individual Has Rights They Have Exercised, Zohrapyan

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Sergey Baghratyan, addressed the presidential candidate of the Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs Committee, Naira Zohrapyan, asking for her opinion on the recent case of a transgender individual receiving a passport in a female name.

"I want to be honest, I have my principles and a clear stance. Nothing in the world can make me change my views or principles. I must say that I don't have a positive attitude towards such phenomena; nothing and no one can compel me to change my position. However, I acknowledge that these individuals have their rights and have exercised those rights," he stated.
